Our Star in March is a British teenager who despite her young age ( born 1996 ) achieved significant international successes as a photographer. She was growing up in the countryside. It was a determining factor in her life. She learnt lots from the wild and rural environment. The most majority of her photography being taken at her home, where she has to find new ways of seeing everything. “The first reason I picked up a camera was to document animal life cycles in my garden.“

Eleanor Leonne Bennett is a 16 year old internationally award winning photographer and artist who has won first places with National Geographic ( She says : When I was 13 one of my photographs was placed in a contest as highly commended run by National Geographic and Airbus. The photo was shown outside the UNESCO building in Paris, in the Canada Cultural Center for the Winter Olympics , Outside of the Retiro park in Spain and the 50th Hamburg Harbor festival, among many other places listed in a press release on the Airbus website) , The World Photography Organisation ( 2009 ) , Nature’s Best Photography, Papworth Trust, Mencap, The Woodland trust and Postal Heritage.
Her photography has been published in the Telegraph , The Guardian, BBC News Website and on the cover of books and magazines in the United states and Canada. Her art is globally exhibited , having shown work in London, Paris, Indonesia, Los Angeles,Florida, Washington, Scotland,Wales, Ireland,Canada,Spain,Germany, Japan, Australia and The Environmental Photographer of the year Exhibition (2011) amongst many other locations. She was also the only person from the UK to have her work displayed in the National Geographic and Airbus run ( 2010 ).
“I have days where I doubt myself so much but I realize it’s not my camera taking images – it is my head and heart. As long as I have my principles and have passion for the things I study, I hope I will be able to take photos that reflect what I love.”
