Jean-Pierre Michel keeps a lasting memory of his trip to Bhutan. Who is now retired, he spends much of his time in photography. In 1986, he and his wife, accompanied by four friends decide to travel in Bhutan, using the services of a guide. The destination is just as popular with tourists and the travel conditions could discourage more than one (or no roads damaged, unhealthy accommodation …). During this three week stay, Jean-Pierre Michel has had the opportunity to discover the mysteries and beauties of Bhutan, literally “land of the dragon.” Through these pictures, it is the story of a great kingdom of Buddhism that Jean-Pierre began to tell.
