Far from the idyllic beaches of the Philippines, Michel Edme explored the territory of the Ifugao people in northern Luzon. He discovered a region very attached to traditional values of the tribes and verdant landscapes marked by growing rice. From Manila, the capital of the Philippines, he went to Baguio and Banaue, a site of rice terraces considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1995.
