For over twenty years, Stéphane Gez is no stranger in Ireland, where he has visited a dozen times, alone, with family, friends or couples. During his last two visits in April 2008 and August 2010, this teacher has traveled the west of clover, Galway Bay to Achill Island, through Connemara. An area of wild beauty, dotted with ancient castles, small fishing harbors and cliffs encircled by the ocean. Here, the Gaelic language is still spoken and the traditional lifestyle remains. Stephen shares with us his heart shots, in pictures.
“What I like in Ireland? The sky seems bigger here than elsewhere, the music sessions in pubs, the warmth of the Irish, and unavoidable, the Guinness … The only downside: each visit, the time passes too quickly! “
